At Caring Psychology, Clinical Psychologist Rae Starkey provides evidence based psychological therapeutic interventions and couples relationship therapy in a non judgemental, supportive, safe, and caring environment in Smithfield, Cairns. Psychologist SA welcomes patients aged 11 and older, from all cultures and backgrounds including those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Treatment is individually tailored to the needs and goals of each patient using a collaborative, compassionate, and warm approach.
Evidence based psychological treatments are used to support patients through difficult times; help them make changes to their thinking and behaviours; and provide them with strategies to improve their quality of life.
Best practice, evidence based psychological interventions are provided for young people, adolescents, and adults, and are in accordance with professional and ethical codes of conduct outlined by the Psychology Board of Australia, enabling each patient to improve their psychological wellbeing.
